Contribution to projects of the General Secretariat for Information Systems (GSIS)

The activities of the General Secretariat for Research and Technology include the organisational co-ordination and technical management of the development and production use of the Electronic Services and the Integrated Information Systems of the Ministry of Finance, as well as the day-to-day production operation of the Ministry of Finance Information Technology Centre (KEPYO). In this context, members of the E-Government Laboratory actively contributed, from 1997 to 2002, to the following technological development projects, headed by the General Secretariat for Research and Technology:

  • Drafting of an After Plan for the TAXIS Taxation IIS
  • Design of services for the General Secretariat for Research and Technology website
  • Business Plan for the TAXISnet Electronic Services
  • Authoring of Technical Specifications for the Project of Adapting the Ministry's of Finance Operational and IT Infrastructure to the Euro
  • Authoring of Technical Specifications for the IT Business Plan of the Greek Financial Crimes Squad (SDOE)
